Burns & Carlisle, Inc. is proud to announce that we will be offering Medical Billing services for our current clients at a discounted rate! Christina Burns, our new “Billing Office Manager”, is close to finalizing this new department so it won’t be long before we are up and running. Christina is certified in Medical Billing and has recently obtained membership for Burns & Carlisle, Inc. in the American Medical Billing Association. We will be providing details shortly.

Burns & Carlisle, Inc. welcomes our new “Sales and Client Relations Manager”, Jennifer Carlisle. Jennifer has been with the company since 2005 as a part-time employee. In addition to new sales, Jennifer’s job is to ensure all of our current clients needs are met and to treat all client concerns as urgent! Client retention is extremely important to us so please let Jennifer know if you have any concerns.

Congratulations to Emily Landers for five (5) years of dedicated service! Emily joined the Burns & Carlisle team in 2006 as a Collector. Emily was promoted to Collection Supervisor in 2007 where she excelled in leading and motivating her team. In 2010 Emily was promoted to “Business Office Manger” where she oversees not only the internal operations of the company, but is responsible for the training and development of all the Collection Supervisors on staff. We are proud to have Emily on our team!!!

Burns & Carlisle, Inc. wanted to do something that would involve all employees this year for their annual Christmas Act of Kindness. This year they adopted the theme "Do Good..and care not to whom." Every employee forfeited 1 hour of pay and the company matched the hours forfeited. The company loaded up on Walmart Gift Cards and distributed them amongst the employees. The employees then set out in the community giving out the gift cards to random folks! "Our employees were touched and felt something in their hearts they will never forget. In one case, the wife of a gentleman we gave a card to called in to tell us we happened to catch him on his way to the food bank and she cried as she told us how much it touched their hearts.

As it turns out, she has cancer and he is on disability! It just goes to show you that you never know what one act of kindness can do for someone else and how it can change their lives. I think we've pretty much decided we will do this every year! I hope our idea will spread and become somewhat of a tradition in the industry", said Norma Burns, President & CEO.
